Affinity Photo - Installing Fisheye-Hemi

Affinity Photo supports some Adobe Photoshop compatible plug-ins including Fisheye-Hemi.  Install Fisheye-Hemi for use with Affinity Photo by following the steps below.

Mac:

If you do not have Fisheye-Hemi for Mac (Photoshop) installed, then download and install from this link: https://imadio.com/download_hemi.aspx

If you do not have Photoshop or Elements on your machine then in "Step 2" of the install instructions just drag the plug-in to a directory of your choice, for example,  "Computer/Macintosh HD/yourPluginDirectory".

Start Affinity Photo.

Go to Affinity Photo->Preferences->Photoshop Plugins.

Click "Add" under "Plugin Search Folders".

If you have Photoshop or Elements on your machine then add the Adobe plug-in folder.
For CC that would be: "Computer/Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-ins/CC/"
For Elements: "Computer/Macintosh HD/Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 15/Support Files/Plug-ins"

Or if you do not have Photoshop or Elements then add the directory where you dragged the Fisheye-Hemi plugin.  For example,  "Computer/Macintosh HD/yourPluginDirectory".

Click "Allow 'Unknown plugins' to be used".

Restart Affinity Photo

The Fisheye-Hemi plugins will be available under Filters->Plugins->Imadio

Windows
:

If you don't have Fisheye-Hemi for Windows already installed, then download and install from this link: https://imadio.com/download_hemi.aspx

Just take the defaults during the installation and don't be concerned if Affinity Photo is not found as one of the imaging applications on your machine.

If you do not have Photoshop or Elements on your machine then create your own plugin directory, for example, "C:\yourPlugInDirectory".  Then copy the following files to the directory you just created:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Image Trends Inc\Hemi 1.0\Fisheye-Hemi 1 (Circle)_x64.8bf
C:\Program Files (x86)\Image Trends Inc\Hemi 1.0\isheye-Hemi 2 (Full Frame)_x64.8bf
C:\Program Files (x86)\Image Trends Inc\Hemi 1.0\Fisheye-Hemi 3 (Cropped)_x64.8bf
where "C:" is the drive where you installed the plug-in on your machine.

Start Affinity Photo.

Go to Affinity Photo->Preferences->Photoshop Plugins.

Click "Add" under "Plugin Search Folders".

If you have Photoshop or Elements on your machine then add the Photoshop plug-in folder.
For CC that would be:  C:\Program Files\Common\Adobe\Plug-ins\CC\
For Elements: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 15\Plug-Ins

Or if you do not have Photoshop, add the directory you created and copied the plugins into.
For example, "C:\yourPlugInDirectory".

Click "Allow 'Unknown plugins' to be used".

Restart Affinity Photo

The Fisheye-Hemi plugins will be available under Filters->Plugins->Imadio

    I managed to install Fisheye Hemi and add it to the list of plugins in the application (on a Windows machine).
    Sadly invoking the plugin does nothing to the image.

    Am I missing something?
    Thank you!
