"The plug-in has not been installed or the installation is damaged."

You are receiving the message "The plug-in has not been installed or the installation is damaged."

This can happen when the plug-in has not been fully installed.

Mac

You probably still have the downloaded DMG file (PlugInNameInstaller.dmg) but if you don't you can download it here:

https://imadio.com/download.aspx

This problem usually occurs because the installer dialog box is not visible so you may want to minimize other windows on your screen.

Double click on PlugInNameInstaller.dmg to bring up the Installer DMG.

Step 1: Right click on the icon (red Imadio logo) to the right and select "Open" to install all the necessary support files.

An installer pop-up will appear and you will be asked several questions that require responses and a completion message will be displayed.

The error you are encountering is usually because "Step 1" was not completed. Again, you may need to close other windows on your desktop to see the installer.

Step 2: Drag the file to the right to the "Filters" folder.
Note:  You probably already did this so no need to do it again if that's the case.

If Photoshop or Elements is running then exit the program and start again.

Windows

This usually occurs on Windows because the plug-in file was copied from one computer to another without running the installer.

You can download the latest installer here:

https://imadio.com/download.aspx

Double-click on the downloaded file and follow the instructions.

If Photoshop or Elements is running then exit the program and start again.
