You are installing a plug-in and get the following error message:
"Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file."
You are probably clicking on the plug-in instead of dragging it into Photoshop's Plug-ins directory.
Please follow the instructions below.
To drag the plugin to the Photoshop Plug-ins directory do the following:
Double-click on the downloaded DMG (you should see step by step instructions after you agree with the license agreement)
Bring up Finder and navigate to the appropriate folder for your version of Photoshop:
Computer/Macintosh HD/Application/Adobe Photoshop CC/Plug-ins
Photoshop CC 2014:
Computer/Macintosh HD/Application/Adobe Photoshop CC 2014/Plug-ins
Photoshop CC 2015:
Computer/Macintosh HD/Application/Adobe Photoshop CC 2015/Plug-ins
Photoshop CC 2015.5 or later versions:
Computer/Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-ins/CC
On the DMG window, drag the PLUG-IN icon(s) that are to the right of the Step 2 instructions to the directory you just navigated to in Finder and drop it in the folder.
For Fisheye-Hemi, drag all three to the directory in Finder.
Instead of dragging you can also right click on the PLUG-IN icon and copy and paste to the directory in Finder.
Then restart Photoshop and the plug-ins will be available under the Filters menu.
